3D Desktop is a virtual desktop which offers a 3 dimensional view so that we can have so many desktops at our disposal at the same time. We can easily manage the 3D desktop and each one is independent with its own wallpapers and icons. This increases the “space” of the desktop so that it can accommodate more icons and also increases the interactivity giving the desktop look and feel of a real desktop. There are so many great tools that provide you a nice looking 3D desktop.
3D wonder: It is an amazing 3D desktop that provides a 3D lookand feel to your desktop. It converts your desktop into a 3dimensional cube having 6 faces. Each face has its own
wallpaper and icons. It is based on the I cube technology whichis the backbone of 3D desktops. An Icube is a 3D cube is a three dimensional cube on which the desktops are arranged.
We can drag and drop icons or a file from one desktop to the
other. We can rotate the cube to reach each desktop. Tochange the wallpaper in a desktop just rotate the cube and simply right click on the cube and change it by clicking on the Icube options menu. We can also adjust the shape and size oficons in a 3D desktop. To adjust the transparency of the cube
presses the ctrl+I to see the inside of the cube. The 3D cube isa wonder but to have the full advantage of this tool you need a system with at least 256 MB of RAM, but a GPU which supports directX 9.0 is recommended because the load of the CPU can be reduced and it does not affect the functionality of your computer.

Real Desktop Lite: Real desktop is a 3D desktop tool. It converts your desktop to a 3D desktop. The icons are scattered on this virtual desktop. To open a file just right clicks on the icon. The size of the icons can be arranged depending on your choice. Just right click on the desktop and select the icon size to adjust the icon size. The icons can be easily moved, rotated and arranged in the 3D desktop. I think it is really a functional desktop with some great functionality. Moreover it provides a more “practical” desktop than 3D wonder.

Moreover it provides a more “functional” desktop than the others. It is a simple yet powerful tool to convert your desktop to a virtual
